Established in London 20 years ago, Forbes & Lomax have from the start approached the lighting control market from an aesthetic point of view.

The elegant glass switches of the 1930s were no longer available and the modern equivalents were ugly and unsuitable for period properties. It was with these problems in mind that Forbes & Lomax launched The Invisible Lightswitch®, a simple transparent acrylic plate allowing the wallpaper or paint to show through. These switches were able to combine an attractive design with all the advantages of modern technology.

After much thought to design and technical specification (given the difference in shape and voltage between switches and outlets in the United States/ Canada and Europe), Forbes & Lomax have now launched the Invisible Lightswitch® in America and Canada.

• Lightswitches, outlets, push buttons and rotary dimmers available

• Wallplates available in “Invisible” acrylic, stainless steel, antique bronze, nickel silver, unlacquered brass and primed for paint (outlets only)

• Flush to the wall plates

• All products have been tested for compliance to UL and CSA safety standards by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory

• All products are designed to fit into US wall boxes
