Solid oak library ladders with cast iron wheel housings and tapered designs from Alaco Ladder Company are also available in other hardwoods and custom-finish treatments. Accessories and options include straight or bent-design ladders, hardwood or enameled steel top tracks, flush or extended handrails, hand brakes, non-slip safety treads and curved tracks for special layouts. May be stained to match existing cabinetry. Each ladder and track is made to order to meet the aesthetic requirements of the designer. If the project design concept includes a library ladder, this system is the answer. It rolls easily, folds for storage if desired, and is secure when climbed. Ideal for bookshelf access in fine home or office libraries, suitable for high shelf access in stores, perfect for back bar and wine rack access in restaurants, lounges, bars and liquor stores. Also works well for mezzanine or loft access and warehouse shelving.
