The All Season Control Cover...the chimney top fireplace damper repair/replacement system.
The Control Cover will allow you to easily shut down your chimney air tight until you are ready to
use it. Our patented design allows you to keep out animals, dust, insects, and drafts and save on heating/cooling energy costs. The ASCC is preferred for new construction as well.
Product Details
• Low Profile. The All Season Control Cover is unobtrusive, almost invisible when closed.
• The Control Cover is efficient. The ASCC controls the air flow and draft through your chimney for a longer, more efficient fire. By adjusting the ASCC, it will also allow the warm air that is generated by the fire to circulate in the home, instead of out your chimney.
• Start fires more easily. The ASCC helps you to start a fire with greater ease. Your chimney contains warmer air, so you are not pushing colder outside air.
• Durable Construction. The standard Control Covers are constructed of cold rolled steel that is powder coated with black enamel and baked to give a durable finish. Stainless, copper, and other materials are available for custom installations.
• Custom sizes, configuration, and materials available. Benson Energy provides solutions for problem applications, small or large.
• Installation is easy. To install the unit, you will need a 5/16 masonry drill bit to install the cable mounting in your firebox. No drilling is required at the chimney top.
• Increases chimney and home safety. Moisture mixes with creosote in chimneys and fireplaces creating unpleasant odors, and creating an acid that eats away mortar making chimneys unsafe. Closing the chimney top also keeps out animals, insects, debris, and biochemical agents that would otherwise find their way into living rooms, bedrooms and basements.
• Reasonably priced. Standard sizes start at under $200.
