Designs In Tile™, an art-tile studio specializing in custom hand-decorated ceramic tiles and murals, is well known for its quality craftswork, elegant designs, and custom colorations. And yet, Designs In Tile™ is more than just decorated tile. Our purpose is to create a unique synthesis of art, ornament, and architecture in every installation.

Designs In Tile ™ was inspired by the philosophy and art of the Aesthetic Movement. We pride ourselves on creative collaboration with clients, architects, designers, and contractors. Our goal is the revival of "Art Tile"; fine art rendered on ceramic tile, and by extension, the creation of a striking and expertly integrated environment. Constant attention to detail is placed on design as well as layout, for completely planned installations.

We have the expertise to serve as consultant/designer/artisan in all phases of ceramic-tile restoration or new work. Years of applied and academic research in historic tile -- design, materials, and methods -- has allowed a primary orientation towards historic and traditional patterns.

As we are a custom art-tile studio, each job is completed on an individual basis and provides the ultimate flexibility in final color and design
