Fagan Design offers a complete line of Architectural Columns and Turnings. Our columns can be based on your designs or follow the traditional Orders of Architecture. Either way, we will produce a finely detailed product that will surpass the toughest standards.

Years of experience have taught Fagan Design to produce the highest quality and most durable columns available. Our tongue-and-groove staved shafts are machined precisely to ensure the maximum amount of adhesive contact surface. Because we can create a column blank of any shape, a minimum amount of material is removed on the lathe. This yields a column of uniform thickness, a column that will last longer, and a column with greater load-bearing capacity. Column diameters are from 2" to 48", in lengths from 12" to 24'.

Our mitered capital and base components are assembled with a permanent glue joint (the industry standard is a butt joint and corrugated fastener). Lead coated copper cap flashing and 1/4" aluminum feet are provided. Paint grade exterior columns are sealed on all surfaces with a high quality primer.
