Heritage Lanterns, in business for over 50 years, manufactures the finest handcrafted period lighting in a variety of metal finishes. Our skilled artisans create heirloom quality lighting which will add beauty and value to any home or building. Each light is individually cut, bent, assembled and finished by hand on a made to order basis – right here in our shop in Yarmouth, Maine.

The exceptional quality of each Heritage Lantern speaks for itself! While most of our lights follow the shapes and forms of the 18th century, they’re simply stunning when used in contemporary settings, too. The placement of our lights is limited only by the imagination.

As well as retail customers, we also work with many architects and designers, some of whom are listed on Architectural Digest’s list of the Top 100 Architects and Designers.

We do a considerable amount of custom work, and we also enjoy working with many repeat customers, some of whom placed their first orders with Heritage Lanterns over 30 years ago.
