Kingsland Architectural Millwork

Kingsland is a family owned shop in the woods of Litchfield County, Connecticut. They manufacture traditional exterior mahogany shutters. Each shutter is made-to-order using the latest in woodworking equipment. Their computerized machinery ensures that all of the joinery is precise.

All of Kingsland's shutters are constructed of Honduras mahogany, because of its stability and excellent decay-resistance. The mortise and haunched tenon construction that is glued with West System Epoxy insures no "sagging" of their shutters.

Kingsland offers a variety of styles, including louvered, in two different size and style louvers, raised panels, and cut-outs. In addition to their standard styles, Kingsland will reproduce any shutter style, whether it is in copying and existing shutter for a restoration project or just building shutters to your drawings and specifications.

Some additional options are available, such as fixed control rods for the louvered shutters, copper caps, and an assorted line of shutter hardware.

Kingsland does not offer any type of finishing on their shutters, but all are hand-sanded and completely ready for any type of finishing you desire.
