Rejuvenation is the country's largest manufacturer of reproduction period lighting, including Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Colonial Revival, Neoclassic and Atomic Age styles. All fixtures are handcrafted in the same manner and of the same materials as the originals, including solid brass (available in 11 finishes) and cast iron.

Rejuvenation offers over 280 chandeliers, pendants, wall brackets, porch lights and lamps, each made to order for specific construction requirements and sold direct. Many fixtures are appropriate for commercial and public building interiors, as well as residences. All are displayed in an 88-page catalogue, available free upon request.

Also available upon request is Rejuvenation's "Architects' Binder." It includes a lighting catalogue, photometrics for some of the most commonly specified fixtures, details about energy-efficient lamping options and presentation materials.

Rejuvenation fixtures are manufactured in Portland, Oregon. Also in Portland is Rejuvenation's 30,000-square-foot retail store, by far one of the nation's most interesting and extensive "restoration" centers, featuring over 15 tenants specializing in new and vintage period products and services. Located at 1100 SE Grand Avenue, this store includes professionally restored antique fixtures, plumbing, architectural salvage, millwork, hardware and furniture, such as early 20th century reproductions and Stickley's Mission furniture.

The company started in 1977 as "Rejuvenation House Parts," a very small store that sold most architectural salvage to old house renovators. Quickly it became known for period lighting -- primarily antiques - which it rewired and offered for sale. Appropriate originals, however, were increasingly rare and expensive, so founder Jim Kelly pursued making reproductions as an affordable way to offer tasteful and authentic lighting to home renovators and building owners. According to Kelly, "I absolutely love what we do. To be able to re-create and make available beautiful things that have been unavailable for 50 to 100 years - I still get excited about that."
